Individualized Support
Nebula Scholars meet one-on-one with support staff at least twice per semester to discuss student interests and goals. That information is then used to create a personalized success plan for scholars
Events
The Nebula Scholars Program hosts a variety of events every semester that serve to support scholars’ academic goals and build community among program participants. Some examples of our events include game nights, academic informational sessions, networking opportunities with UT Dallas faculty, staff, and alumni, and our most popular social event: the staff vs students annual kickball game!
In addition, we provide an artistically enriching experience for our scholars. Every year, the Nebula Scholars participate in outings to experience the rich performing arts scene in Dallas. In the past, we have seen live productions at the Dallas Opera House and Richardson Symphony Orchestra.
First-Year Focus
Nebula Scholars in their first and second years at UT Dallas are invited to participate in specialized programming that aids scholars in becoming more familiar with the Nebula Scholars Program, opportunities for first- and second-year students, and centers on important resources for scholars to succeed
