Nebula Scholars meet one-on-one with support staff at least twice per semester. to discuss student interests and goals. That information is used to create a personalized success plan for each student. Students receive networking support and connections to opportunities for engagement and enrichment on campus.

The Nebula Scholars Program hosts a variety of events every semester that serve to support scholars’ academic goals and build community among program participants. Some examples of our events include including in-person game nights, and game nights hosted on our Discord Server, academic informational sessions, meet and greets with faculty and staff, and our most popular social event: the staff vs students annual kickball game! In addition, we provide an artistically enriching experience for our scholars. Every year, the Nebula Scholars participate in outings to experience the rich performing arts scene in Dallas. In the past, we have seen live productions at the Dallas Opera House and Richardson Symphony Orchestra.

First- and second-year Nebula Scholars participate in the First-Year Focus programming that gets students more familiar with Nebula Scholars programming and centers on important resources for students in their freshman and sophomore years.
